Lori Skinner

Lori Skinner, BSN, RNC, CANS is a Master Nurse Injector, having received advanced neurotoxin and filler training from Aesthetic Advancement Institute through the Post Graduate School of Medicine. A Certified Medical Laser Safety officer (CMLSO), she uses lasers to treat brown spots, fine lines, uneven tone/texture, dilated capillaries, facial rejuvenation and scarring. She is a Licensed Medical Aesthetician who holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Curry College. She holds the honor of being the first Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist in Massachusetts and has a primary clinical focus in neurotoxins, Sculptra, fillers, chemical peels, microneedling (CIT), lasers and skin treatments. She is a member of the International Plastic Surgery Nurses Association and the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. Lori regularly attends national cosmetic conferences. She has aggressively pursued extensive laser training through various laser workshops and courses conducted through the laser society organization. In 2011 she was recognized by Professional Biographies with inclusion into their Registry of Professional Executives and Entrepreneurs.

Her article, Indoor Tanning is Not Pretty, has been published across several platforms to educate on the unadvertised hazards of tanning beds Her extensive nursing experiences includes working in cosmetic dentistry, psychiatry, private practice, hospital nursing management, dermatology and cosmetic and reconstructive facial Surgery. Lori is proud to be on the Governing Board of Directors for the Children’s Melanoma Prevention Foundation. Although a native of Maine, Lori has lived internationally. She has dedicated over 20 years towards various philanthropic causes, as well as organizing and leading military spousal support groups. She spearheaded countless fundraising events in the diverse military community in which she lived. Shortly after 9/11, she commuted between Massachusetts and Arlington, Virginia working with patients suffering from PTSD. Most recently she volunteered her nursing services with an international maxiofacial reconstruction team in Tunisia.
